G. Ben Turnipseed Engineers uses a team approach for development and delivery of our projects. Each Project Manager coordinates the workflow and the designers, technicians and support staff understand the goals and objectives of each project and work together to achieve continuity through all phases of the work.
Design engineering includes:
- Survey of project site using GPS and TOPCON Total Station
- Computer drafting (CAD) utilizing AutoDesk Civil 3D, Design and Survey, AutoCAD R7, ARCGIS and other design software
- In-house document printing and reproduction using large document scanners and printers.
- Preparation of bid documents and construction specifications
- Obtain regulatory agency approval of the plans and specifications
- Assistance with advertising and bidding the work, tabulation and review of bids received.
- Recommendations for award of contract
- Preparation and coordination of execution of contract documents
- Conduct pre-construction conference and issue notice to proceed
